Daniel A. Dearing age 67 of Maryville passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Veteran of the US Army Reserves and a graduate of Brockton High School in Brockton, MA. Daniel was a long time sports official for football, softball and basketball and retired from LeBaron Foundry with 42 years of service in Brockton, MA. Preceded in death by: Daughter, Cheryl Vradenburgh; Parents, George & Alice Dearing; Brothers, George Dearing Jr. and John Dearing. Survivors include: Wife of 48 years, Pat Dearing; Son, Peter Dearing; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Dawn & Peter Spetrini and Brenda & Mike Shea; Son-in-law, Howard Vradenburgh; Grandchildren, Troy, Trevor & Hailey Vradenburgh, Alexa & Kylie Dearing, Elizabeth, Vincent, Justin & Joseph Spetrini, Lacey, Alia & Aiden Shea; Brothers, Hal Dearing and Donald Dearing; Sisters, Barbara Knight, Joan Vodden, Evelyn Deming, Inger Furman, Ellie Paniagua; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Parker officiating.
